Cowgirl - Mustang

Skilled trainers are being recruited for the Extreme Mustang Makeover this year. Created by the Mustang Heritage Foundation, the competition showcases trainers and their assigned horse through a series of classes that test trainability and versatility.

Competitors must submit their applications to compete in one of the many cities around the United States. They are given a mustang at random and will have 100 days to prepare their horse.

Performances will include handling and conditioning, patterns, and combined leading and riding classes. The top ten trainers compete in a freestyle finals round. With over $200,000 in prize money, those entering the challenge should be prepared for tough competition.

At the conclusion, the trained horses will be available for adoption.

If you think you may be interested in competing in West Springfield, MA, Reno, NV, or Lexington, KY act fast as deadlines are in February. Find applications at: http://extrememustangmakeover.com/.
