COWGIRL STYLE Silversmith Spotlight: Lost Pond Studios By Allie Falcon | April 21, 2016 Share Turquoise, sterling silver and leather – is there any better combination? NOPE! At Lost Pond Studios, it’s all in the details. Designer and owner, Debra Scialla, hand makes every single piece in her shop! The bright and bold turquoise stones she uses is what originally caught my eye, but upon further inspection I fell in love with her use of navajo pearls, hand stamped beads, custom charms, mixed metals and leather in many of her pieces. Usually if you see a beaded turquoise necklace in her shop, chances are there are going to be small handmade beads/charms incorporated in it somewhere that make it really unique. The selection between her statement pieces and her simple layering pieces was the hardest part for me, but I personally settled on a simple necklace with beautiful kingman beads mixed with some copper beads and hand stamped beads. It is finished with leather to tie around your neck and since I can make it whatever length I want, I wear it just about everyday with every piece in my jewelry arsenal and you will too. I give Lost Pond Studios two huge thumbs up…like giant sized thumbs and I think you will too so check her out on Etsy, Facebook or Instagram.
