Uncle Hoot’s Children’s Book – The Flower Jar

The Flower Jar is an unforgettable story of kindness, commitment, and dedication, that truly tugs on your heartstrings. The boy does the “little things” that are so often overlooked and continues these small acts of kindness all the way into manhood… Careful, mama! This one is a tear-jerker!

“Writing children’s books is what I want to do. I love to rope, I love to train horses, and I love to build things; but I love children more than anything else in this world…. It’s unfortunate, but I feel that in today’s society, they’re not being dealt a square hand with regard to morals and values. I won’t go into too much detail, but It seems as though traditional values are being removed from our culture entirely and nobody will even talk about it. People really should be concerned, and it’s about time some of us started taking a stand. With that in mind, I am going to do my best to inject as many morals, and as much kindness into my books as I can. If you want to change a culture, you start with the children. Might be a fool’s errand, but I feel compelled to do it anyhow…I think God will appreciate the effort.” –Uncle Hoot
