Take a trip down memory lane for a moment... Do you remember your first fall off of a horse? Most can retell this story easily. It's almost a right of passage as a rider. Maybe you've heard the saying, "you’re not a real rider until you’ve fallen off 7 times." While many could debate that old wives' tale, there is some truth in the fact that falling off does teach you something about riding and horses.

Confidence & Riding

Falling off can really shake your confidence! It makes riders realize just how dangerous horses can be. In one moment, you could be in the back of an ambulance. That fear can really play tricks on the mind. It can make you scared to ever get back in the saddle.

It's healthy and natural to have some fear. It helps you be safe and take proper measures to eliminate unnecessary risks.

Hopefully, that first fall didn't stop you from getting back in the saddle. It may have taught you to be a little more cautious though. It's okay to be scared. Know your limits and protect your confidence because in one fall is could be depleted.
