No need to fear: Dolly Parton is here to save the day… with Imagination Library books! Dolly Parton just announced “Goodnight With Dolly,” a 10-week series of books read by Dolly herself.

According to the Imagination Library website, “Dolly hopes this series of stories will provide comfort and reassurance to kids and families during the shelter-in-place mandates.”

Episode 1, premiering April 2nd, features “The Little Engine That Could,” a huge source of inspiration for Dolly and the book children receive when they register for Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.

“Goodnight With Dolly” isn’t the only way Ms. Parton is contributing to her community during this time. On Instagram, she announced that she would be donating one million dollars to Vanderbilt, as they’ve made some huge steps toward curing coronavirus.

“Goodnight With Dolly” premieres April 2nd on the Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library YouTube Channel. Hopefully Dolly’s voice will give families a little comfort during social distancing and quarantine!
