Karlee Peterson Returns To CowboyChannel & CowgirlChannel As Creative Director


Karlee Peterson returns to Cowboy Channel and Cowgirl Channel as Creative Director. After many successful years as a producer at Cowboy Channel and growing the Western Sports Roundup TV show, she went to Bass Pro to showcase her talents there before returning to her rodeo roots.


“I recently returned to Cowboy Channel after accepting a role with Bass Pro Shops as their Content Producer the past year. As a firm believer in consistent education, I knew the Bass Pro opportunity would teach me an entirely new skill set that I needed to grow as a Producer. 


“Now back as the Creative Director for both Cowboy Channel and Cowgirl Channel, the combo of previously producing for Cowboy Channel, and recently managing photoshoots for Bass Pro; it set me up perfectly to lead the team in launching Cowgirl Channel and expanding our coverage to new lengths on Cowboy Channel. Had I not learned the importance of paying attention to the smallest details and creating a plan that truly sets my team up to succeed, I wouldn’t be able to hold this position the way I needed to. 


“Rural Media Group has recently made so many headlines from Cowboy Channel extending the PRCA Deal and going international with Canadian & Brazilian Rodeo to Cowgirl Channel officially launching the new weekday show, Women’s Western Sports Roundup. Our central focus has always been rodeo. We are in a position to grow our coverage both for rodeo & beyond now with both networks showcasing different associations along with the lifestyle of the western industry. Along with the new shows, I am enjoying working with the sales team and meeting the clients to ensure their sponsor dollars are used in the most creative & effective way.
