Lauren Alaina’s new EP “Getting Over Him”

Alaina releases her brand new six-song EP “Getting Over Him” on Friday via Mercury Nashville. “I went through a pretty public breakup last year, and I went through the breakup right before I went on ‘Dancing With the Stars’ and I never addressed it,” Alaina said on her 2019 relationship with ex  John Crist. She continues, “This EP is kind of my response, because everyone did have a lot of questions and I never really answered it. … Until I had my mind wrapped around what’s happening, it (was) OK to take a beat and just take some time for myself. And the way I do that is I write songs.”

“Getting Over Him” Track List:

  1. Run
  2. If I Was A Beer
  3. Bar Back
  4. Getting Over Him (duet with Jon Pardi)
  5. Seen You In Your Hometown
  6. What Do You Think Of? (duet with Lukas Graham)

Ava Rowland’s music video “He’s Like A Habit”

Pop-Country singer/songwriter Ava Rowland shoots into September’s scene hitting a bullseye with her latest single, “He’s Like A Habit.” This single takes center stage with traces of sweet contradiction while blanketing innocence and addiction. “He’s Like A Habit” highlights Ava’s rare flair for storytelling and builds upon her unmistakable vocal talents. The music video was shot on location in her hometown of Wellington, Ohio, and features her hometown friends, giving fans a genuine glimpse into her everyday life.

Walker Country’s new single “Shovel”

Walker Country’s new single will have you digging into everything by this country duo. The Walker sisters, Ivy Dene and Sophie Dawn brings a full performance to every single song. Older sister Ivy belts every songs and her younger sister, Sophie, rounds out the songs with harmonization and drums. And if the sisters were not enough, their father, Billy Walker, is the lead guitar. Every thing that Walker Country does is a musical family affair.  The lyrics for “Shovel” are written by Ivy Dene Walker, Sophie Dawn Walker, Trannie Anderson and Jason Gantt.

Kristi Hoopes’ new single “Don’t Worry Mama”

Kristi Hoopes, an emerging 70s-inspired country songstress, shares her first release of original music since 2014 with “Don’t Worry Mama,” a heartfelt ease to her mother’s worries as her not-so little girl strikes out on her own for the first time. The track was produced by Grammy winner Paul Worley (The Chicks, Lady A) and seasoned session guitarist Biff Watson (Don Williams, Crystal Gayle).

With Kristi’s gentle vocal gliding over the melody like a nursery rhyme, the song speaks to the Colorado native’s journey from her Rocky Mountain home in pursuit of big city dreams, all while trying to hold onto the small-town memories and morals her mother gave her. Her delicate southern tone paired with lush, twang-soaked strings – played by studio legends like Dan Dugmore and Byron House – harkens back to the classic 70s country sounds of greats like Olivia Newton-John and Emmylou Harris.
