Tiffany Woys Gets Personal with Release of “Took Back”

Tiffany Woys has always been a singer but only recently did she become a songwriter. It took some tumultuous and heartbreaking life experiences for her to take the leap into writing her own story through her own songs.

“At first I was the vehicle for other people’s stories, but now being able to share my own is incredibly rewarding,” shares Tiffany. “The biggest difference is these are actually my words and now you’re going to hear directly from my heart. Music is very cathartic. In the last year, I learned just how much I actually could lean on what I love, and it is music. I think I was supposed to be a vehicle so other people who are going through things will know they’re not alone. Hopefully, they’ll listen to the EP and realize that everything is going to be okay. You’re going to find that thing that’s meant for you. You just weren’t in that moment in life yet where it was supposed to come. What’s meant for you, finds you.”

“I have loved ‘Long Gone’ since I first heard Bill Morrissey sing it a couple of decades ago. Recording it was a blast, and I think that as a ‘returning’ song, it is particularly resonant in these post-pandemic times. We’ve all been long gone, from each other and the world at large. Every time I hear Brandon Godman’s fiddle kick-off, I get excited all over again, to be returning from the virtual to the corporeal world.”

Rhonda Vincent Releases New Single “Please Mr. Please”

Multi-award-winning bluegrass artist and Grand Ole Opry member Rhonda Vincent’’s new single “Please Mr. Please” from her upcoming album is available now. The follow-up from Vincent’s number one song, “City of New Orleans,” “Please Mr. Please” continues to set the pace for a specialty project over a year in the making. 

"I was working on the song ‘Four Strong Winds’ from our upcoming “destinations” themed album, and as I turned from working on that song, all of a sudden, out of nowhere, I started singing ‘Please Mr. Please,’ smiles Vincent. “There was something similar in the songs. My heart started to race, and I instantly thought, ‘This will be a great bluegrass song!’ I couldn't wait to tell the guys in The Rage. When I mentioned it, none of them had heard the song before. This made it even better. I found that so many people have never heard of the song, and it's like having my own original bluegrass song. We rehearsed it at sound check and then started performing it on our shows. I could instantly tell this song was special with everyone’s reactions, with many singing along, and best of all, people are now asking for it everywhere. I love that!"
