Held during the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas, Nevada, Resistol, and Wrangler presented the inaugural Cody Johnson golf tournament. The star-studded golf tournament raised over $300,000 for Resistol’s Cowboy’s Who Care Foundation, Wrangler’s Bucking Cancer, and the Different Day Organization.

Country music star Cody Johnson continues to raise awareness and support for the Western way of life through his music and most recently, his golfing. Supporting the Different Day Foundation, this event raised funds to support the foundation's efforts to empower and support women as they overcome and heal from the system of exploitation.

In reflection of the event’s success, Cody and his wife Brandi stated, “We'd like to express our profound gratitude to the Western community for always showing up and supporting variable efforts throughout the industry.  Thank you to our team for a flawless job organizing, and the participants for giving your time and treasure.  We look forward to seeing everyone again next year!".

Bringing smiles to children's faces across the country, Resitol’s Cowboy’s Who Care Foundation aims to brighten young children’s lives through the most iconic symbol of the West– a Resitol cowboy hat. The organization is dedicated to providing smiles, support, and free new, specially-made cowboy and cowgirl hats to boys and girls across America with cancer or other life-threatening illnesses.

The Wrangler Bucking Cancer program supports a variety of 501c3 cancer charities tied in with rodeo or western events,  for the Cody Johnson Charity Golf Tournament Wrangler chose to support the Golden Circle of Champions supporting Pediatric Cancer.  

President of Wrangler, Allen Montgomery reflected on the success of the inaugural charity event, “What a great kick-off to our annual  Cody Johnson Charity Golf Tournament. The Western industry came through for the charities we support and had a great time doing it. Wrangler is honored to be a part of such a great event and looks forward to making it bigger next year.”
