Lyssa Coulter's new single "I Don't Wanna Know", written by Molly Mae Kurpis, revolves around someone being stuck watching the person they love starting a life with someone else and not wanting to see or know the details because of the hurt and heartbreak it brings. It is releasing tomorrow, April 29th, and we cannot WAIT for everyone to hear it!

Of the writing process, Lyssa says, "Molly and I started with the concept of writing a sassy song about what would be said to the new girl in the pictures. A few nights later, I received a text with a voice memo for a new song called "I Don't Wanna Know", which she mentioned was 'inspired by the other side....'" Lyssa was instantly hooked by the melody and lyrics and listened to the song at least 12 times that night. The emotional song addresses the heartbreak and hurt that comes with watching someone you love and care for deeply being with someone else.

"I felt this track was important to put into the world because many times we see vulnerability as "bad" or "scary" due to it potentially revolving around aspects of life that hurt such as heartbreak. In my past, I've shoved those emotions down and they resulted in built-up anger and disrespect towards myself and towards people in my life that I love," she says. Through her many life lessons, she has learned that vulnerability isn't bad, and it shouldn't be feared as much as it is.

Lyssa says, "Vulnerability is beautiful and it's what makes us human. It is an honor to cut one of Molly's songs. Her writing has inspired me since the day I heard it, and continues to inspire and push me to be a better and more honest writer."
