Mikayla Lane and Forrie Smith are joining forces to help the WRCA Foundation! Mikayla Lane’s passion for the western industry started as early as she could remember. When she was little her family was in the cattle business so being around livestock and wide open spaces was nothing out of the ordinary.

At 18 years old, she is now a country music artist/songwriter, and advocate for the ranching community and the cowboy way of life. Her music is influenced by this lifestyle and has a unique sound that intrigues.

Supporting the WRCA and the ranch cowboy/cowgirl is something she is passionate and enthusiastic about. Along her music journey she crossed paths with Yellowstone star Forrie J Smith, and together they make an awesome pair. Authenticity is key to both of their brands; a few months back they released a single “Let It Be Known”. This song represents the importance of a father figure and family, which the WRCA embodies well. They are both honored and excited to be at the ranch finals on Nov. 9th taking donations for the WRCF, which is their foundation to provide financial assistance to working ranch cowboys and their families.

Mikayla said, "This is an amazing cause, so be sure to attend the WRCA Finals in Amarillo, TX Nov. 9-12 and give back."
