Regan Stewart's Debut EP Is Finally Here!

Regan Stewart brings her signature feminine twist on traditional country on her debut EP r. The collection of songs is comprised of singles she has been releasing over the past two years, along with one new recording. Anyone who has been lucky (or even unlucky) in love will definitely be able to relate!

The new song "Still Got A Chance" is about a she liked when she was in college. "We were friends, and I tend to fall for my friends all the time," she says with a laugh. "We always hung out a bunch one-on-one and I always thought, 'Maybe this is the time when I should tell him I'm interested and see how he feels.' I didn't tell him how I feel because I was always like, 'If he didn't feel the same, then this whole story I've made up in my head still feels like a possibility down the road.'"

While the title may be just one letter, the meaning behind it is so much more than that. She explains, "It's a great representation of the beginning of me as an artist. 'R' is the beginning of my name, not the whole thing, and it's a piece of who I am and the stories that are a part of me but there's more to come."

"As an artist and as a person, I have more to come," she continues. "I have stories to tell but also experiences that have yet to be had. This is a stage in my life. They're all about looking for love and it not happening, and being at a bar. Literally my life at the moment. I like that it's just an 'r' because I have more to tell."

As she looks to the future, Regan feels excited about the next chapter. "I've been writing some awesome songs. I feel like I've been writing a lot of "nostalgia vibes," like how I grew up and the town I come from. More detailed of who I am as a person. I feel like it's a different layer of people getting to know me more."
