If you’ve been wondering how to get this popular professional barrel racer’s curly, chocolate locks, you’re not alone. Below are some easy steps for getting Fallon Taylor’s gorgeous dark curls.

Step 1: Add Curl Defining Cream

Smooth on some curl-defining cream to damp, freshly washed locks. We love Living Proof Curl Defining Styling Cream, $28, for curls that can’t be resisted. After you’ve ran this cream through your hair, blow dry hair thoroughly.

Step 2: Curl Locks With 1-inch Curling Iron

Wrap 1-inch pieces of hair around a 1-inch curling barrel. As long as you spiral the hair inwards, it will come out with that wide, spiral curl like Fallon’s. We recommend Sultra The Bombshell curling iron, $130.

Step 3: Shake and Spritz

After curling all of your hair, rake your fingers through your curls to break them up a little. After shaking out those curls with your fingers, spritz on some anti-frizz and curl spray. This Alterna Bamboo Anti-frizz Curl Reactivating Spray, $25, will keep those curls nice and curly while keeping the frizz away.
