JB Mauney said on social media, "All I can say is it’s been quite a party! After the @prca_prorodeo xbulls in Lewiston Idaho I underwent surgery @stjosephregionalmedical on my neck which required a rod/plates/screws and the removal of a disc. Surgery went great and I would like to thank everyone at @stjosephregionalmedical for taking care of me. Unfortunately with the surgery it ended my bullriding career, just wanted to let everyone know that I’m ok and now on the road to recovery!"
