The 10,000 mile trek translated to 800 days in the saddle, and saw Filipe traveling through a total of 12 countries. The rugged journey was documented by Filipe in the book “Long Ride Home: Guts, Guns and Grizzlies, 800 Days Through the Americas in a Saddle.”
