As the Texas Swing winds down and the WPRA cowgirls shift their focus out west, the race to the National Finals Rodeo and National Finals Breakaway Roping is in full swing. Over the next few weeks, the ladies of professional rodeo will look to make their way out west to historic rodeos like the Red Bluff Roundup, Clark County Fair & Rodeo and the Oakdale Saddle Club Rodeo. It's gearing up to be another record breaking year of WPRA rodeo!

Barrel Racing

Leslie Smalygo leads the pack of competivie barrel racers with a near $13,000 lead over Kassie Mowry. Smalygo, who took home the big win in Rodeo Houston, looks to oninue her hot streak heading into Spring. It's no suprsie ledgends like Lisa Lockhart and Hailey Kinsel have also found them selves at the top of the standings with over $40,00o won-- and it's not even summertime!

Breakaway Roping

Wow, talk about a stacked standings! Fan favorite and world champion, Jackie Crawford has been setting the world of breakaway roping on fire, and has no intentions of slowing down anytime soon. With over $77,000 already pocketted, the 2024 WPRA breakaway roping season is gearing up to be yet another record setting year. Also sitting at the top of the world standings is none other than Danielle Lowman, Taylor Munsell and reigning world champion, Shelby Boisjoli-Meged.
