The newest trend, "Coastal Cowgirl," has hit the charts. Just imagine a cowgirl riding her horse on the beach, then jumping off to go swimming in the ocean. Her clothes have to keep up with her beach and barn lifestyle. It is a mix of bohemian and western with carefree vibes.

Western influencer, Shaley Ham (@westdesperado), embodied this trend with her latest stylings.  

As shown in her video, worn-in and comfortable denim shorts are a staple to a Coastal Cowgirl's closet. Top the outfit off with your favorite cotton striped shirt, your cowboy hat, and boots! It's all about staying cool, casual, and keeping that sun off of you!

"This trend is all about tonal neutrals, lots of denim, casual cowgirl boots and your favorite cowgirl hat (felt or straw)! I think of it as a laid back, urban cowgirl vibe and love mixing up the ways I style western staples," writes Shaley in her recent post about the trend.
