Charmayne James has recently been announced as one of six coaches for Kid Rock and PBR's Rock and Rodeo event. This past week, the Professional Bull Riders (PBR) and music icon Kid Rock hosted an exclusive announcement party at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, Nevada during the National Finals Rodeo.

At this event, it was announced the innovative rodeo would be formatted differently than most. After the success of the PBR teams format, this rodeo will follow a similar format with the team names being selected by none other than Kid Rock. Charmayne James, Cody Ohl, Bobby Mote, Trevor Brazile, Sid Steiner, and Fred Whitfield have been announced as the team's coaches. Talk about a room full of legends!

The reimagined rodeo will feature a Team format with six teams competing in a bracket-style competition featuring Kid Rock live in concert, playing all his hits and more. Six teams, each led by a head coach who will lead their team of athletes, will go head-to-head in barrel racing, bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, tie-down roping, team roping, steer wrestling, and breakaway roping.

The music-infused team rodeo is set to debut at AT&T Stadium on May 17, 2024, leading into the PBR World Finals Championship, May 18-19 2024. These events will also take place in collaboration with the Women's Rodeo World Championship and the Cowgirl Gathering, making it an unforgettable week of rodeo in Texas!
