After the dust settled on Championship Sunday, Joey Williams and Sue Smith were the two cowgirls who came out on top in breakaway and barrel racing. Congratulations, cowgirls!

Joey Williams – Breakaway Roping

Top 10 WPRA Breakaway Roper Joey Williams took home the prestigious title with a 3.8 second run. Breakaway was only added to the lineup a few years ago, but these talented women ropers get to compete for equal money! It's a great time to be a breakaway roper.

Sue Smith – Barrel Racing

Talk about some good watching! The barrel racing arena record was broke TWICE on Championship Sunday. First by Summer Kosel, then Sue Smith laid down a 16.89 second run to claim the title at The Dad.
