Have you met Amanda, the Neon Wrangler, on social media?! She brings a twist of neon to all of her looks!

Amanda said, "Rodeo has been in my life since day one. As a 90s rodeo baby, I spent countless hours traveling the southeast with my Dad, a champion bull rider. I was always in awe of the vibrant and stylish ladies of barrel racing, I remember running up to the front of the fence when the announcer said the words “COWGIRL BARREL RACING.” When I finally got the chance to step into the arena myself, there was no turning back. The thrill of competition and love for horses have fueled my passion ever since.

"In 2017, I had the privilege of attending my first National Finals Rodeo, which proved to be a transformative experience for me. Prior to this event, my attire consisted of whatever T-shirts and jeans I happened to have in my closet. However, witnessing the allure of western fashion at the NFR ignited a newfound curiosity within me. As 2020 unfolded and my barrel racing career was temporarily suspended due to the pandemic, I utilized the lockdown period to engage with social media, sharing a more of western fashion content on my various platforms.

"I slowly I discovered my love for all things vibrant and neon.  It became apparent to me that the western industry was somewhat devoid of color, prompting me to fill the void. With the assistance of a friend, we brainstormed a captivating new handle, “Neon Wrangler.” It started with some fun colorful wigs and it really snowballed from there. It’s been a big learning curve but I’ve been able to grow an amazing and supportive audience, not to mention all the new friends I’ve made along the way. I’ve even been so fortunate to work with brand that I grew up using.  Businesses was that I never dreamed I’d able to work with.  As my online presence grew, I realized the impact I could have on others. I used my platform to inspire a community of colorful western fashion enthusiasts. Motivating them to break out of the typical western mold and dress in ways that make them feel happy. It’s been an honor to see brands develop more traditional pieces but with a fun colorful twist. That’s my true style and pieces I love seeing.

"Over the past year, I've been incredibly fortunate to embark on exciting travel adventures. From attending events and parties to experiencing the thrill of PRCA rodeos, I've had the privilege of sharing the rodeo and western lifestyle with my amazing audience. It brings me such joy to provide a firsthand look at these incredible events, allowing my followers to gather inspiration for their own Western-themed vacations. Exploring new places, recommending the best accommodations and dining spots, and highlighting must-see events has truly become one of the highlights of my career. Among the standout events this year, the WESA market, Rodeo Houston, and the Cheyenne Frontier Days Rodeo hold special places in my heart. Looking ahead, I'm eager to expand this list and introduce my followers to even more remarkable events in the coming year!

"Next up for me is my seventh consecutive National Finals Rodeo. It's an event that I start planning for months in advance. I love having the opportunity to let loose and get a little weird and western with my fashion choices, I call it Twisted Western.  This year, I am absolutely thrilled and honored to collaborate with some incredible brands who have helped me create these show-stopping outfits. One collaboration that has me buzzing with excitement is with the talented Rhinestoned Gypsy, who will be custom designing my nighttime pieces. Having the creative freedom to wear one-of-a-kind pieces is a dream come true for any fashionista, and I am beyond excited to unveil our creations to the world. Stay tuned for some unforgettable looks that will truly make a statement at the NFR!"
