Meet These Percherons At Road To The Horse

Are you ready to be amazed?!? Road to the Horse is welcoming Whispery Pines Percherons to their exciting event- March 24-27, 2022, in Lexington, Kentucky. The schedule is packed with impressive entertainment. Don't miss the fun!

Road to the Horse invites four trainers to test their skills and build a relationship with an untouched 3-year-old American Quarter Horse. Spectators can follow along in the journey and root for their favorite team. The event also hosts various clinicians and guests. This year you can expect to see Pat Parelli, Wylene Wilson, Jessica Blair Fowlkes, and many more.

Kellie Rettinger and her husband, Sam, are the proud owners of Whispery Pines Percherons. This year they have a spectacular performance planned with their beautiful black draft horses. Additionally, they'll be part of the opening ceremonies and hauling the judges of the competition in their wagon each day.

You'll be able to stop by their booth to chat with the team. An entire village is needed to get their percheron horses ready. Even with a large crew, it takes about three hours to hitch the six-horse team from start to finish.
