Anne Wilson is one of Nashville's most inspiring young trailblazers. After tragically losing her brother in 2017 and singing at his funeral, Anne's life course was drastically altered. It was through this tragedy she found her musical mission. She has been open about how it has affected her since day one, and we have a special first look at her new song and video "Seventh of June" about the heartbreaking day that was, and still is, June 7, 2017. Have your tissues ready – you're going to need them!

Music played a pivotal role in helping Anne navigate the pain of losing her brother. "It became a source of healing for me and a way to express my emotions I couldn’t quite understand," she explains. "I wrote over 120+ songs for my debut album, and through the songwriting process, I found comfort, connection, and strength. Music allowed me to process my grief and gave me an outlet to share my journey with others who were also experiencing profound loss. It really became a powerful tool for healing and a reminder of God's presence in the midst of my pain."

This is the most honest and personal song Anne has ever written, alongside collaborators, Jeff Pardo and Matthew West. Jacob’s passing changed her life, and she wanted to have a song that put words to the emotions she feels surrounding his passing and what life is like now, without him.

The video, filmed at the Wilson family farm, incorporates multiple personal elements that are important to Anne. Every shot in the video is a spot on the farm that her and Jacob frequented. "While these details may not be immediately noticeable to viewers, they hold deep meaning to me and my family. From glimpses of his resting place, visiting the spots on the farm we loved to visit together, to me wearing one of Jacob's shirts and strumming his guitar, these small moments throughout the video all honor his life and legacy."

She continues, "My hope is that people who listen to the song and watch the video find comfort and healing in their own journeys of grief. I want them to know that it's okay to grieve, to feel the pain, and to lean on their faith for strength. I hope the music and music video touch their hearts and remind them that they are not alone in their struggles. Ultimately, I want this song and video to be a source of hope and solace, a reminder that even in the darkest moments, God's love and presence are with us."
