In a year of shattered records, the Jerry Ann Taylor Best Dressed Award was no different, bringing in over 40,000 combined fan and committee votes. The WPRA, in conjunction with the National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame, announced this year’s winner of the Jerry Ann Taylor Best Dressed Award: Sissy Winn.

Sissy shared on social media, "Thank you so much to everyone who voted for the Jerry Ann Taylor Best Dressed Award!! I also need to extend a great big bunch of gratitude to @fallontaylor2, @codiharman, and @jessieharman at Ranch Dress’n. These ladies organized the outfits and photo shoots and encouraged everyone to vote. And one extra-special thank you to Fallon for becoming an all-around mentor and friend in this fast-paced, barrel racing world.

"It’s been a wonderful week. I’m super proud of Scoop’s performances, my two Go-Round Buckles, and this prestigious award. Jerry Ann Taylor recognized that Western fashion adds to the spirit and fun of rodeo, and I’m honored to accept this award🦋💙🩵."

Jerry Ann Taylor was a daring trick rider who brought a style, glamour and spirit to the rodeo arena. Following her passing in February, 2012, a fund was started, by her husband Dutch Taylor, her mother Jo Matthews and other donors, to reward cowgirls who carry the same sense of style. The WPRA is pleased the National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame has collaborated with the us to offer this prestigious award at the Wrangler NFR. Cash awards will be given to the Best Dressed Barrel Racer.
